Prem Tinsulanonda International School, Chiang Mai
The purpose of the camp was to teach kids about survival skills like learning how to use a compass, how to tie knots, build shelters, make fire, make fish traps, and cook by themselves. Besides this, the kids enjoyed nature and learned about the local environment by traveling to Siriphum Waterfall and hiking the Angkha Trail. The activity that the kids liked the most was making fish traps because when they made it, they were happy. They used their imagination to decorate it by adding leaves and some little branches on it. The cool part was that they actually got to use it at Siriphum Waterfall. And when they got something, they also learned about the animal and the patience required to fish. The kids also loved the campfire because they enjoyed eating marshmallows. We're excited to welcome grade 6 again next year!
