Access #2, AUA
Discovering Doi Inthanon
"I didn’t think I could be a leader!"
"I challenged myself to use English"
"I learnt a lot of knowledge during this camp"
These are just some of the comments made by AUA Access2 students after a two-day camp on Doi Inthanon.
It was a busy time with games, scavenger hunts, a visit to the summit and Angka Trail, hunting for macro invertebrates to determine the water quality, considering human impact in National Parks, hiking through the mountain and working with village children in Mae Klang Luang.
Traidhos Camp staff were impressed by the level of engagement shown by the group, their willingness to participate in everything and the energy they brought to the service element. Form the smiles on their faces, we are sure that the local children will remember the Three Little Pig dramatisations and the lively games they enjoyed with the Access students, for a long time to come.
